Engineering Resources, Inc. is a multi-disciplined engineering firm
established in January 1997. The firm offers civil, transportation,
hydraulic, and structural engineering services along with landscape design.
The staff of Engineering Resources bring many years of experience as
corporate leaders, engineers, and designers for a diverse client and project
base. Engineering Resources is dedicated to the needs of the client,
providing service beyond expectations.
Engineering Resources, Inc. has gained
experience in both the private and public sectors, including locally and
federally funded projects. We have extensive experience in site,
landscaping, transportation, hydraulics and structural projects including:
assisted living communities, medical office buildings, industrial
facilities, small and large box commercial, residential subdivisions,
libraries, primary education, franchise commercial, and local universities,
including IPFW and the Indiana Institute of Technology. The following is a

HEALTH CARE PROJECTS

Anglemeyer Osteopathic Family Medical Center:
Site development and Structural Engineering design for a 2.96 Acre
Medical Office Building site in Napanee, Indiana. Design services
include storm sewer, sanitary sewer service, water main service, fire
protection facilities, hardscape paving, earthwork balance calculations,
and site grading. Permitting services included the City of Napanee Plan
Commission. |

Logansport Emergency Department Addition: Site development for 8 Acres
of Site improvement and structural design services for a 61,379 sf
reinforced concrete structure Emergency Department addition in
Logansport, Indiana. Site design services include underground detention,
sanitary sewer, water main, fire protection facilities, hardscape
paving, earthwork balance calculations, and site grading. Permitting
services included the City of Logansport Planning Office. The
structural design utilized steel columns, beams, and decking. This
project incorporated a unique clearstory canopy design. |

Cameron Woods Assisted Living: Structural Engineering for 25,000 sf
wood and structural steel assisted living building. The design
incorporated the use of wood framing and steel beams to create large
open expanses and numerous unique roof trusses creating an interesting
roof profile. |

Pulaski Hospital, Pulaski County, Indiana: We
completed the structural design for an entry and administration addition
to the existing hospital. The project team was challenged to support an
unusual entrance canopy overhanging the entrance drive . |

Saint Anne’s Home Assisted Living Addition –
Fort Wayne, Indiana: Site development and Structural Engineering
services for this three story addition. Civil Design services include:
perimeter road, hardscape paving, and site grading. The structural
services included block and precast concrete floor system for the lower
floor with typical wood framing for the upper floors. |

Scheurer Hospital – Pigeon, Michigan. We
completed the structural design for the new surgery and administration
addition to the existing hospital. The project included steel framing
and concrete foundation system. |
EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS

Indiana Wesleyan University Library - We completed the structural design
services for the $13 million library on their campus in Marion,
Indiana. Many architectural features were incorporated in the project
design. |
RECREATIONAL PROJECTS
 |
Jorgensen YMCA: Site development and Structural Engineering design of a
10 Acre site for the Greater Fort Wayne Area YMCA in Fort Wayne,
Indiana. Design services include storm sewer, storm water detention
facilities, sanitary sewer, water main, fire protection facilities,
hardscape paving, intersection improvements, road improvements,
earthwork balance calculations, and site grading. Permitting services
and approvals included: contingent use, variances, Allen County
Department of Planning Services, and the Allen County Surveyor’s
Office. The structural design included many architectural features
which included multilevel roofs and a wedge shape interior corridor. |
LIBRARY PROJECTS

Union Township Public Library, Culver, Indiana - We completed the site
and structural design for a $2 million addition to the existing Carnegie
Library. The project team was challenged to blend architecturally
exposed structural steel elements with the existing historic library. |

Steuben County Library - We completed the site and structural design for
an existing Carnegie Library. The project team was challenged to blend a
previous addition with the existing historic library. Steel sheet
piling was used to protect existing buildings. |

Woodburn Library Woodburn, IN - We completed the civil and structural
design for this branch of the Allen County Public Library system.

COMMERCIAL/OFFICE PROJECTS

- TV 39 Office Building: Site Development and Structural Engineering
design of a site in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Design services include storm
sewer, storm water detention facilities, sanitary sewer, water main,
fire protection facilities, hardscape paving, and site grading.
Permitting services included the City of Fort Wayne Planning Office. |
INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS

Alpha Owens Corning (AOC) Expansion Projects – We completed the
structural design of their $10 million dollar blend tank expansion
project, and the site and structural portions of the first phase of the
design process the third reactor expansion project. Many innovative
industrial applications were included in the $18.5 million project. |
MUNICIPAL BUILDING PROJECTS

Allen County Community Corrections: Engineering Resources provided the
structural and site development services for this two story municipal
project. Due to poor soils, the building is supported on auger-cast
piling. The site required partial underground stormwater detention, and
improvements to the City streets at the two adjacent roadways. |
DESIGN-BUILD PROJECTS
 |
Summit Cold Storage, Summit, Illinois – We completed the structural
design and plans for a new freezer storage facility which included
loading docks and a two-story office. Because of soils issues at this
building site, the building required a structural slab, placed on steel
piles. We recently finished a second addition for this client. Phase 1
project cost $12 million, and phase 2 cost $6 million. |

Institutional Wholesale Company, Inc., Cookville Tennessee – We
completed the structural design documents for a new freezer and dry
storage warehouse facility that included docks and a two-story office.
Total project cost exceeded $8 million. |

HEB, Houston, TX - Structural design services for freezer warehouse,
machine room, battery charging room, and two story office with canopy.
Project cost of approximately $3 million. |
 |
Interstate Warehouse Inc. Denver, CO - Structural design services for
the freezer warehouse addition which also contained a separate
multi-story office building with strip windows. This project exceeded
$25 million. |

Marsh Supermarkets, Indianapolis, IN -
Civil and Structural design services for the office, dock machine room,
and freezer warehouse. This civil design included many advanced soil
erosion control practices. Total project cost exceeded $8 million. |
